Holiday in Negeri Di Bawah Bayu ~ Sabah

Assalamualaikum and hye...It was already nearly 5 months passing by , but only now i had time to share about our short Holiday trip to Sabah. We  had a 2 Days and 1 Night stayed in Sabah , u think it's enough? No no , for a beautiful place like Sabah, definetely not enought at all .Even it was a short time of holiday  but we really enjoyed it , it was indeed an unforgetable Getaway.
If you prefer for a great holiday escapade ,it is better to take 3 or 4 night leaves ,it  will be just fine and satisfied enough. We had a short holiday trip because our main focus is off to Bintulu for Hari Raya Haji.We had stayed  in Cititel K.Kinabalu , at the heart of K.Kinabalu town, 7 minutes walks to Pasar Filipino , a heaven of pearls from Sabah. A visited to Filipino market really was a wonderful moment , it really make  me amazed, crazy about pearls,local handicrafts things and da people in this market , u know what , my eyes kept on blinking dunno what to choose ! All was a amazing and  beautiful ,cheap and so many choices especially those pearls !, so ...i grabbed whatever i can afford to buy  including  scarf pins,locket ,bracelet etc lalala. And the people..amazing ..they were warmth ,courteous and polite ,soft spoken .
You can hear Filipino language were spoken and using all over, feel like ur in Manila or Cebu Island or some other part of Jakarta , because Sabah people used to talk similar like Indonesian language ,even Sabahan Chinese can talked Sabah language very fluently, until u can't differentiate whether they are Sabah ethnic or Chinese.  Such a unique culture ....Indeed.
Kota Kinabalu town is a peaceful town , nice place for  shopping local   things ,easy to find food ...and the food is similar to Sarawak food , less spicy , more water and delicous, of course !
One of the best menu is Ikan Bakar we had that night , the fish is freshly taken from the seashore , u can taste its freshness ..and the kuah cili ...very2 spicy but good taste ...and because of this extraordinary sambal i got coughing and fever brought back to Bintulu . hahaha
Tapi sayang and pity  we dont had enough time to visit Kundasang , nearby Mount Kinabalu  . Maybe , is that  mean ,that will be another visit to come here ?...Hope soooo....hehe.
No wonder my uncle said , if you stay in Sabah , u'll definetely cannot forget this Beaufitul City and its warmth people's , one time visit is never been enough.
Sabah ...i will come to visit you again ,InsyaAllah, God Willing ...coz lot's more places to go ...eg snorkeling in Pulau Sipadan and Kundasang escapism. Hu hu.
